Biography

Jeffrey R. Tobolski was born and raised in the Village of McCook, and currently lives there with his family. In 2009 he was elected Mayor of McCook to a four year term.

Jeff is a graduate of  at Knox College where he earned a BA in history.  Before entering public service Jeff worked for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company for fifteen years as a claim’s adjuster, and later as a fraud investigator.  On November 2, 2010 Jeff was elected Cook County Commissioner after defeating incumbent Tony Peraica.
