Political Campaign Information

The Political Campaign Season is now upon us and the Board of Ethics provides information to help ensure proper political activity.

The Political Campaign Season is now upon us. Cook County Board President Todd H. Stroger and the Board of Ethics wants to ensure that Cook County Employees and those campagining conduct themselves in an ethical manner during this time.

Employee Political Activity
The Board of Ethics provides the rules and guidelines that Cook County Officials and Employees must abide by to ensure that there is no violation of the Ethics Ordinance. Their site provides a Political Activity Guide to help employees understand these guidelines.

Campaign Finance Activity 
The Board also provides information regarding allowable Campaign Finance Activity within the County Ethics Ordinance. A Campaign Finance Guide, as well as a listing of those Doing Business with Cook County is provided to assist in this matter.
