The Office of Capital Planning & Policy is responsible for implementing and monitoring the Countys Capital program throughout Cook County and reviewing policy as it pertains to capital construction in the County.

The Office:

  • serves as liaison to architects, engineers, program managers and contractors
  • is responsible for soliciting and reviewing professional services related to capital programs
  • reviews all construction documentation
  • coordinates all capital issues affecting county departments, other governmental agencies, and the private sector
  • and reports regularly to the President, the Construction Committee, and the Board of Commissioners.
