2010 Building Permit Workshops

If you are applying for a Building Permit, department representatives are available at the Permit Workshops that will be held throughout the year at Leyden Town Hall.
Residents of unincorporated Cook County can receive preliminary reviews and/or submit applications for building permits for projects such as decks, above ground pools, additions, sheds and other building projects.

Online Permit Payments Now Available

Effective July 13, 2009, the Cook County Department of Building and Zoning now provides for permit customers to  be able to pay their Building, Plumbing and Electrical Permit fees online.
